Hi, I’m Sam. I am a motivated engineer with a passion for computer science who is currently employed as a Software Developer for IAR Systems. I love programming and have an in-depth knowledge of a wide range of languages such as C# and Javascript. I also have detailed experience with web frameworks ASP.NET, .NET Core and the JavaScript frameworks Angular & React Native.
I studied computer science at the university of Lincoln where my final year ended with me being awarded a First Class Honours classification for my degree. The year involved modules such as Cloud Computing, Cross-Platform Development and an individual Dissertation project based around developing a web application to prioritise COVID-19 vaccinations.
In 2019 I took part in a placement year at Frasers Group, where I worked as a Junior Software Engineer on various Angular and .NET projects. For more about me, including my qualifications, full list of programming experience and route into computer science visit the About page.
Projects
Check out the Projects page for a look at some of the things I have been up to in my own time and during university, including my final year dissertation project ‘CoV-Risk’.
Travels
The aim of this site is to not only showcase my programming projects but also share my passion for travelling through my blog. I am aiming to write a few travel and general life stories each year so head here to read them.
