Hi, I’m Sam, a Software Engineer currently employed as a .NET Developer at RedCentric, one of the UK’s largest managed service providers. With 6 years of industry experience, I have gained a wide array of skills in various technologies and languages, with my most detailed experience coming from utilising C# with .NET and Azure, as well as previous exposure to both JavaScript and TypeScript through the Angular framework.
I studied computer science at The University of Lincoln, where I was awarded a First Class Honours classification. My dissertation project, based around developing a web application to prioritise COVID-19 vaccinations, can be found on the Projects page.
Straight after university, I joined IAR Systems as a Software Engineer, where I remained for two years working on various .NET and Angular projects. In 2023, I moved on to Redcentric, where I have been focusing on .NET for Azure. I am also currently studying for the AZ-204 Azure Developer Associate certification. For more about me, including my qualifications, full list of programming experience and route into computer science, visit the About page.

Check out the Projects page for a look at some of the things I have been up to in my own time and during university, including my final year dissertation project ‘CoV-Risk’.
Travels
The aim of this site is not only to showcase my programming projects but also to share my passion for travelling through my blog. I write a few travel stories every now and then, so head here to read them.
